APC CONGRESS IN OGUN STATE
Ogun All Progressive Congress held ward congress election in all the twenty local government area in the state. The election was peaceful as most of the elected officers emerged not through election but through consensus. This shows the extent of unity within the party in the state and indication that there is no room yet for opposition party at Oke – Mosan, Ogun government administrative office come 2015 general election.       - Political Group

YEWA DAY CELEBRATION
The five (5) local government in Ogun west comprising Ado-Odo Ota, Yewa South, Yewa North, Ipokia and Imeko-Afon local government as a result of stakeholder meeting held in August 2013 gave way to Yewa Day Celebration.
Dignitaries, HRM Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, Olu of Ilaro and paramount ruler of Yewaland  and Chief (Mrs.) Iyabo Anisulowo during the programme tagged the celebration as a way forward in Yewaland and an effort to bring together sons and daughters of Yewaland towards the development of the land.
The celebration commenced on Wednesday 9th April, 2014and it will end on Sunday 20th April, 2014. The activities includes: quiz competition, football match, talent hunt, free medical service, mosque and church service etc.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Ogun State Prince Suraj Ishola Adekunbi as the first political citizen in Yewa land has called on all sons and daughters of Yewa to fully participate in all positive activities.         – Political Group
