Real Madrid Prepare Final £70m Bid for Liverpool Striker Luis Suarez
the Spanish giants have been tracking the Uruguayan goal machine for
some months and although there is little chance the Anfield side would
consider offers for the 27 year old this will not stop Real Madrid
mounting a £70m bid for Suarez this summer.
Real
president Florentino Perez, coach Carlo Ancelotti and director general
Jose Angel Sanchez are reported to have met to discuss summer transfer
targets earlier this week and have decided to make their interest in
Suarez formal and will hope that a big money offer may alert the former
Ajax man.
Suarez netted 31 Premier League goals last term and won a
host of awards following a standout campaign that helped Liverpool to
mount a genuine title challenge.
Having
recently signed a lucrative new contract that makes him the highest
paid player in Liverpool history and seen Brendan Rodgers secure a long
awaited return to the Champions League, there would appear to be little
reason why Luis Suarez would consider leaving the Merseyside outfit this
summer.
